The Lord of Shadowsby *Razmakai

This is a slightly older piece, started it a while ago and didn't really finish it until a couple months back. Yeah, I really suck at backgrounds but I want to improve so I figure I'll try and do more background work into my art as long as it doesn't kill the drawing that is. I asked ~Zeurel if I could draw my OC Yato battling Black Ace and well...here you have it the bastard pulled a fast one on Yato that's for sure. Also, I am a bit rusty so I apologize for any errors in the anatomy/design being on constant uninspired hiatus' really hurt the art skill I find.

This was actually one of my favorite recent pieces cause I brought out the old colored pencils for the backgrounds and combo'd 'em with markers for what you see there. Hope you enjoy~

That coloring looks nice and bold! Maybe the colored pencils makes the markers look bolder but it's a really cool effect!

Thank you, it's really hard for me to get backgrounds looking "good" per se. Most times I make them look like children's scribbles for crying out loud...but now that I look at it again, I suppose it doesn't look too bad. xD
